Reservations
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made online via the booking form on our website, or by contacting us via WhatsApp or LINE.
What driving licence and experience are required?
An International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the Geneva Convention, or a valid Japanese driving licence, is required. Some vehicles may require a minimum period of driving experience.
How do I change or cancel my booking?
Please contact us via WhatsApp or LINE to request a change or cancellation. We recommend reviewing our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
How will I know my booking is confirmed?
Your reservation is confirmed once payment is completed. A confirmation email containing your booking details will be sent to the address associated with your account.
Payment
When does payment need to be made?
The full rental fee must be paid before the pick-up date to confirm your reservation. A security deposit is charged separately and will be refunded within one month of the return date, provided there are no outstanding fines or charges.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit card payments via our secure online payment system, or bank transfer to our accounts in Hong Kong (HSBC) or Japan (GMO Aozora Net Bank).
Rental Period
What documents do I need to bring?
Foreign visitors require: a valid International Driving Permit (IDP), their original home-country driving licence, and their passport. Japanese residents require: a valid Japanese driving licence and one form of ID.
Can I extend my rental period?
Extensions are possible subject to vehicle availability. Please contact us as early as possible to arrange an extension.
What are the pick-up times and location?
Pick-up is available between 08:00 and 20:00 at our office. Pick-up outside these hours or at an alternate location may be arranged — please contact us in advance to discuss your needs.
Return
What do I need to do before returning the vehicle?
Please complete three tasks before returning the car: (1) fill the fuel tank at a designated petrol station, (2) clean the interior, and (3) pay any outstanding traffic fines. Failure to complete these tasks will result in additional charges.
Insurance & Accidents
What should I do if there is an accident?
In the event of an accident: (1) assist anyone who is injured, (2) move the vehicle to safety if possible, (3) call 119 (ambulance) and/or 110 (police) as appropriate, (4) file a report with the police, and (5) notify our staff immediately. Do not attempt to settle any claims privately.
What insurance coverage is included?
Basic compensation coverage is included in the rental fee, covering personal injury, property damage, vehicle damage, and personal accident. Optional additional insurance is available at the time of booking.
I received a traffic violation notice — what should I do?
Please pay the fine at a police station, bank, or post office as instructed on the notice, and do so before returning the vehicle. Late payment incurs a ¥30,000 surcharge.
Cancellation Policy
What is the cancellation policy?
15 or more days before pick-up: full refund. 8–14 days before: 70% of the rental fee refunded. 4–7 days before: 50% of the rental fee refunded. Within 3 days: no refund. All refunds are subject to a 4% processing fee.
Vehicle Features
Do vehicles have ETC (Electronic Toll Collection)?
Yes, all vehicles are equipped with ETC devices. You may use your own ETC card, or borrow one from us free of charge.
Do vehicles have GPS navigation?
Yes, all rentals (except three-wheelers) include built-in GPS navigation as standard.
Are vehicles non-smoking?
All of our rental vehicles are strictly non-smoking. A cleaning surcharge will apply if smoking is detected.
